Lazy Sunday Afternoon
Don’t you just love Sunday afternoon. The lazniess in you makes you want to just sit around and do nothing. Perhaps listening to some chill out songs with a glass of ice-coffee in hand. You can feel the tranquility in the air you breath. Definitely cannot compare to the tranquility of Santa Cruz or Byron Bay…but hey…that’s the best we can get here.
And today is an exceptionally good Sunday. It was raining in the morning and the afternoon was so cooling. What else can you ask for on a Sunday afternoon? I’d wish it would rain the whole day…it’ll definitely give a bluey lazy Sunday.
When was the last time you walk in the rain? Not because you didn’t bring an umbrella and you have to walk in the rain but literally walk in the rain just for the fun of it. Can’t really recall but sure know it was ages ago. Funny why we didn’t do it these days? It must have been fun but why don’t we do it anymore? Is it because we are afraid that we might be drenched or is it because we might fall sick after that? Why are we so afraid as we grow older? We are afraid of lots of stuffs. We are afraid of sickness, old age and death…we are afraid of commitment…afraid of loosing someone…afraid of loneliness…afraid of being unsuccessful in life…afraid of not making our mark…afraid of not living to our potential. The list goes on and on. Sometimes ignorance is a good word.
Maybe I should just be ignorant on Sunday. Enjoy the remaining Sunday and be afraid when Monday comes.
