So They Say
You’ll never get want you want…so they say. It happens to me countless times. The more I wanted that something…the more I will not get…I will always fumble at the last hurdle or screw up the whole damn thing. And when I didn’t really want that something anymore…2 or even 3 of that thing will come crawling to me…ironic isn’t it. I kept asking myself…why is this so? Is it karma or its just my imagination. Its another unanswered question added into my long list of unanswered questions.
I think I’ve heard someone sang…you just can’t get what you want…you only get what you need. I’m an easily contented person…if you give me what I need…it’ll be good enough…but sometimes I don’t even get the things that I truly need…explaination anyone?

They say that everything happens for a reason…could it be related? They also say that things just happen…so it might not be related afterall…hmm…its getting confusing already.

There is a theory about this.
Actually our so called 'wants' are surround us everyday but we do not want or desire it so I do not notice them.
However, when we want something, our brain sends signal to remember and constantly look out for that something. Longing and expectation start to exist. The longing translates to unmet expectation when we do not get to have/see/hear the something. We then fel upset and disappointted because we 'think' that something is not happening. well, in actualy fact is that, it is because we set an expectation [more often than not, higher expectation e.g. for someone to call back but he/she does not], then disappointment and we conclude that things are not happening.
In summary, it is our mind that is fooling us.
If we turn around and think, if we want something we need and just put together our actions to get it. Chances are we are 50% through getting what we need.
So this theory is called 'Law of Woofhams'. Haha!
See, never let our minds fool us and of course our friends too.
