Back To Work After 2 Weeks Break

Its back to work tomorrow…after a 2 weeks break. I have a busy schedule tomorrow…my project that I was doing before the break will resume…don’t want to even think about it…not on a lazy rainy Sunday afternoon…and the retrenchment that will happen in Jan 09…I can see that it is not going to be a good January 2009.

The two weeks break has made me want to rest even more…especially with the holiday blues still hanging. Before long it will be the Chinese New Year…and more rest…this time round…I presume it will be a week.

Have done quite a bit during the break. Had a sumptuous Christmas dinner with my long time pals at One Rochester (Iv & wife Ce...Eu & wife May...Miko & Derr...Ben & wife Joy & daughter...Teng & wife Aud)...an expensive dinner that over the last couple of years was missing during Christmas. The atmosphere that night was really…err Christmassy. I haven’t had that kind of feeling for the past few years…with the global turmoil in 2008 and uncertainties in 2009…feeling Christmas again is kinda assuring. Have also invited Sweet Sue to come join us for the Christmas Eve wine & dine...but too bad she couldn't make it...else it would have been one very Merry Christmas.
