What Are The Odds

Have you ever have a chance whereby someone…a total stranger…ask if you have taken your lunch…what would your reply be if you have taken your lunch…not yet waiting to lunch with you…not yet would you buy me lunch…yes but I can eat with you again…I only thought of the above replies after I foolishly told this stranger I have had my lunch earlier.

I was at this Starbuck’s waiting for my café latte when suddenly the sweet barista asked if I have had my lunch…she asked rather courteously “sir have you taken your lunch”…hmm…wonder why she asked? Would she be inviting me to lunch with her? If it’s true…then I must have disappointed her…to muster the courage to ask a stranger to lunch…is really something…oh silly me…I must have been shell shocked to think properly and reply more appropriately…how stupid can one get?
